K Source Universal Clip-On Towing Mirror Installation - 2015 Land Rover Evoque

Ryan: Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer.com. Today on our 2015 Land Rover Evoque, we're going to be taking a look at, and showing you how to install the K-Source universal lens towing mirror. Our towing mirrors are going to extend our line of sight. That's going to be very useful when we're towing a trailer, changing lanes, backing up into a parking spot, or even just wanting to keep an eye on what's going on behind us.So with our towing mirrors on, they're going to give us that wide field of view that we don't have with our factory mirrors. Now, as you can see, I'm visible in that towing mirror, but not in our factory, that's how much more we're going to be able to see. Once I take a few steps closer to our trailer, I'll become visible in that factory mirror, thus eliminating any blind spots. The one thing I really like, is the fact that we're not going to lose any adjustability with our factory mirror. more

K-Source Universal Dual Lens Towing Mirrors Installation - 2013 Land Rover Evoque

Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer.com.Today on our 2013 Land Rover Evoque, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the K-Source Dual Lens Universal Towing Mirrors. Now the main function of a towing mirror is to help extend our line of sight. It's going to element all our blind spots which will make us feel more comfortable while we're traveling down the road with a trailer. As you can see, now I'm visible in our factory mirror but if I take a few steps over, you'll notice me in the towing mirror. Now our mirror has full adjustability to accommodate any of your vision needs. With our towing mirror in place, you really don't lose any adjustability with our factory mirror either. Our turn signal is still going to be visible too.Now one thing I'd like to point out, when our towing mirror is in place you're not going to be able to fold your mirrors in, you're going to make contact with your door. Now the straps that hold our towing mirror on are made of a soft rubber material. That way they don't only give us a good grip but you're not going to have to worry about them harming or scratching your vehicle's finish. Now something I do want to point our since they are rubber, if you use your mirror a lot, these can wear out over time. So if you plan on using it a lot, it might not hurt to pick up a few replacement straps just to have on.Many of our customers actually wrote in and said they we're very impressed with actually how well these worked and they also really liked to fact of how easy they we're to take on and off.Keep in mind too, since these are for the most part universal, they could potentially fit any other vehicle you happen to have in your household. Now that we've gone over some of the features, let's show you how easy this is to get installed.First thing that we're going to do is put our towing mirror onto our factory mirror housing. Line our tabs up like that. Find a good flat spot where it sits the best, kind of hold it in place. What we're going to do is take our straps, we're actually going to connect our strap to the part down here. more
